Síoċáın
Síoċáın (per/per) is an artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally. In addition to working in a wide range of artistic media including photography, sculpture, painting, installation, and combined media, per has shared creative art-making skills with children and adults as an educator at colleges and universities, art centers, and in K-12 schools. Currently Teacher of Visual Art in the Newark Public School District of New Jersey, per mission is to help students grow as people, while developing and strengthening their unique creative vision and voice.
Síoċáın enjoys swimming, motorcycle riding, camping, making art, and practicing Zen meditation. Born in Dublin, Ireland, and raised in New York City, per graduated from the Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music and the Arts, Parsons School of Design, and Hunter College CUNY. Síoċáın holds a BFA, an MFA, and was a Fulbright Fellow to Berlin, Germany.
